Emph-bot

A body language study realized in the form of a Robot. How do we create scary behavior? We, humans, can understand and share feelings with others, with empathy. To abuse this ability, we created a robot that inflicts pain on itself. It prepares itself to stab itself in the face, even though its body languages suggest it doesn't want to.

Empathy helps us to know how to respond to other's pain, by helping them. You can interact with this robot, maybe try to stop it. However, it will continue to destroy itself. Our fear of the unknown, not knowing why something is hurting itself when it's clearly in pain, is unsettling.
